Where to Keep Toiletries

In well-designed houses, all restrooms—whether separate from toilet rooms or not—usually have bathroom cabinets to keep them pleasant and tidy.  In ordinary houses—and even in establishments with inexpensive rates for transient visitors—such cabinets are scarce, or at least kept to a minimum.  In dormitories and other boarding houses, cabinets are not installed, as all toiletries should be kept by the users, along with their other personal effects.  In cases like these it is best to have a dependable shower caddy.   While different designs of cabinets add more statement to residential restrooms in particular, shower caddies also add personality and convenience in the bathroom as they come in different colors, designs, and forms.

Bathroom cabinets are designed to stay in the room forever.  Even the most compact medicine cabinets stay where they should be.  In contrast, shower caddies are aptly designed with several compartments, suitable handles, and quick-dry fabrics.  This is perfectly why kits and caddies have become the cabinet’s replacement….and they keep upgrading to suit our ever-changing needs and preferences.  With these, they become not only as shower caddies, but reliable bags for picnics, beach paraphernalia, and other outdoor necessities.

There are several types of shower caddy, four of which are the wall-mounted, the basket, the suction-cap, and the hanging type.  Of these shower caddies, the hanging type—one that is quick-drying—is more convenient not only for dorm dwellers, but for people who are inclined to travelling.  Whether they travel on official business or for leisure, a multi-compartment shower caddy provides access and convenience to its users.  Surely, they do not want to look silly walking around (the resort or camp) while carrying a chrome-plated shower caddy, do they?

Perhaps, only a few would choose a shower caddy over bathroom cabinets as a permanent fixture in their homes.  Truly, a bathroom without cabinets is weird and can be inconvenient. But the presence of a perfectly fitting shower caddy can completely turn a bathroom into a more appealing and user-friendly private room.
